Elena Koning, M.Sc., Ph.D. (she/her)

Elena is a Killam Postdoctoral Research Fellow whose research focuses on investigating the clinical utility of psilocybin treatment as an adjunct to cognitive behavioural therapy for eating disorders. Simultaneously, she aims to address methodological and ethical limitations of psychedelic research using study design adaptations, phenomenological approaches, and incorporating lived experience perspectives. In her spare time, you can find her hiking with her dog, baking sourdough, or spending time with friends and family.
